What is a low mileage 03 worth????

A coworker mentioned to me recently that he had an Evo that he wanted to sell. I don't know much about these cars but I went to take a look at it and now am considering buying it because I think I can get it for a good price but neither him nor I know what is fair. Hoping you guys can give some input as I wasn't even in the market or ever considered buying an Evo.

Here are the details:

2003
37k original miles
Black exterior all original with no accidents 9 out of 10
Interior in excellent condition and also 9 out of 10
Vishnu 3??hp upgrade package
HKS cams
Upgraded intercooler & piping
3" turbo back
Stock suspension other than a hotchkis rear sway bar
Stock wheels & brakes
Some type of short shifter

Car drives good and feels tight. It needs a set of tires since the car has been sitting in the garage for over 6 years. Other than this and changing the fluids it doesn't appear to need anything else. Owner is older and I'm honestly surprised that he even owns a car like this.

Anyways, hoping you guys can give some input on what a fair/good price might be for it.

Any input appreciated

Eventually we all get old and can't see, can't move, can't drive and maybe need money. But other than when infirmities set in, what's age got to do with it? Go to a car show and instead of examining the cars notice the average age of the owners. Only young people liking performance cars is a myth perpetuated by young people.

I think my sentence read incorrectly as it's not just his age that threw me off when he mentioned the car. I mainly mentioned that he was older to try and emphasize that the car was likely better taken care of. I know this person well and it's really just not something that you would have ever guessed based on other things than just age.

For the most part though I do believe that the majority of owners of cars like a modified Evo will be younger.

Thx all on the input. Sounds like 15k on the low end and 20k on the high end so maybe somewhere in the middle is a fair #.

I would pay 25~27K for a low mileage one. It's hard to find one.
