Nice!
What is your injector duty cycle? 1000cc seems a bit small for your setup.

How often do you check compression and do boost leak tests?
Are you on original timing chain?

Based on ID's flow chart in ~95%+/- 3 range at 7500. Its on the edge but enough.

I have never checked the compression, I checked for boost leaks a year ago. Yes original timing chain, the motor has not been touched throttle body to manifold.

You should start checking compression to watch for changes and consult with Evo specialist about timing chain replacement. I heard the stock chain can stretch from fatigue and enough to mess up motors with boltons. I don't recall which years this happens more often with.

Mitsubishi revised the timing chain design and oiling mechanism for 2011+ models, my local shop said it's only an issue for 08-10 models and recommends changing timing chains on those models regardless of mileage on the motors.

Should upgrading the oil lines when getting the mhi even be considered? And I wonder how much of a difference it is with a ported mhi vs non ported , if ordered from fp that upgrade is about 95$ which I find worth it. But any e ways nice setup I bet much like it Alot

When I was upgrading my turbo I wanted the upgraded line because apparently it's really easy to crack the factory line if you are not careful. My shop (AG auto) advised me that it was not necessary so I reused the stock feed and have not had any issues.

Regarding ported vs non, mine was ported by my shop not FP. There is a little lip on the hotside exit that is eliminated once its ported, I opted to have it done for that reason.

I have not. Interesting... I may test it just to see how the motor is internally. Was your car displaying any symptoms of change like loss in power etc? My car honestly feels the same so I have never seen the need to test is.

Leak down changes over time in any engine lol. If the car runs well, doesn't smoke, etc, I wouldn't bother with it.

Do ARP rod bolts also, if they stretch and boost is increased, potential boom. Chains where updated in 2012, double stacked instead of single stacked links, less wear and stretch.

You'll get a red warning light on the dash if the chain goes beyond the threshold.

Nice power! 100k miles, that says a lot about the tune. Debating on MHI or the CBRD BW 7163 kit. I know the MHI will be a lot cheaper that the CBRD kit. Both looks like they will produce same amount of power or so. I see your still on stock manifold?
