Chances are they'll miss the wave at the speed they're moving though. Let's see how much "Evo" is actually in it, rather than just a name. It seems like a continuation of ideas that'll never see the marketplace.

A next-gen Evo should go the way of the NSX not the Tesla

Make something for the most professional drivers on earth, moms with kids - a minivan with Evo suspension.

You guys are so old and last decade, these days it’s all about the next opportunity to make money anyway a company can and some 21 yr old marketing graduate who used to play x box is going to call the next thingthat rolls off the showroom floor an Evo ok. It’s not about heritage or oldschool rally racing, its about whether some inner city hipster is going to like the heads up display so he can hook up to snap chat on the way over to his favourite elegant craft café where he will order his favourite late decaf skim mocca with a sprinkle of nutmeg in a test tube while sitting on a box and chowing down on a toasted smashed cucumber melt laid on a layer of massaged Tuscan kale

Ultimately, I wish all the best and I hope they can claw back some market share. Lets just hope the proportions are closer to a hatchback than an Outlander.

You could have just said "typical Volkswagen owner".

Looks like Subaru will be stealing some of Mitsubishi's thunder. Sure looks better than an electric-SUV to me. http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...kyo-motor-show

if it ends up somehow being like Mercedes Benz GLA, I might actually somehow swallow the CUV push, if it gets bloated up more than that. Then ugh sad

My issue with a sport-coupe-SUV-whatever is the high ride height. There is just no way to make it feel sporty when you are sitting 3 feet off the ground.
