Wha turbo, engine build , gearbox ratio for 1st gear roll street racing up to 600 m
Dear guys ,
i am thinking about an engine build , gearbox and turbo setup
i want to use the car in the weekend .
i was wondering what is the best engine build for street racing 1st gear roll up to 600 m a 2.2 destroker ? a 2.1 ? a 2.0 a 2.3 stoker ?
what is the best gearbox ratio and which clutch to use for 9000 k rpm
?
which turbo setup do you suggest ?

2.2slr in a 4g63 block, ported head, GSC S3 cams, Magnus Intake mani, etc..
I would do a twin scroll 6870. Will put you will into the 900's on ethanol. Or a 6466 for 800's.
For the trans, a 4.11 final drive and Evo 9 5th, Evo 8 1st, 3rd and 4th gear. Second gear is the same, so you can't change it.

Thank you for your help
What do you mean by 4g63 2.2 slr ? Is it better than a 4g64 2.2 destroked build ?
I prefer a 4g64 block for a better rod stroke ratio !
I am running a stock oil pump and immwilling to go 9.500 rpm
with 11.5 CR pistons on ethanol

2.2slr in a 4g63 is a 94mm crank with 153mm rods. If you do a 94mm crank in 4g64 you can run 159mm rods. I prefer the 4g63 block because the taller deck 4g64 can create fitment headaches with turbo kits, making things not so "bolt-on".
You're asking for trouble revving a stock oil pump that high. To try and help it live, definitely look into the English Racing underdrive oil pump gear. Next step up from that would be the front line fab oil pump, or just go dry sump.

Ur saying strictly for 1st gear roll to 600m? That's more than a 1/4 mile already break boostin, I would do a 2.0L slr Oem evo crank grp alum rods and 1400HD2s with a super 99 t3 .85 that will be pretty damn hard to beat it is laggy but once ur into boost it pulls damn harddd

This is an "older" build and could have made more power with one of Precision's newer turbo's that flow more with a Gen2 compressor of similar size.. The car went 202 (IIRC) in the standing 1/2 mile with a dog box.
