Advice on making big hp 700
Car put down 450 and I would like to take it to the next level and see it put down around 700hp. What would I need to change to see around 700. Current mods are
Ams 30r kit
Turbo xs intercooler
2.3 stroker
272 cams
Ported stm intake manifold
70 mm throttle body
Ets upper ic piping ams lower piping
1000cc injectors
Busher trans
Exedy twin
deatschwerks 300 fuel pump
Grimspeed 3 port boost controller
Currently tuned on speed density by boosting performance

that turbo won't hit over 500 on a regular dyno. Question is what fuel are you planning on running im guessing E85. You will need a upgraded turbo, injectors,fuel pump and possibly clutch. Could come close on a Black or will hit with a 35r.

I think I'll be switching over to e85. I've already spent 1000s on others parts e85 seems to be the most cost effective way to to make big hp minus a bigger turbo

OP: You'll reach the knock threshold on pump gas too soon to get to 700whp on any turbo that's not outrageously sized. With E85 you can get there with a 62mm (like a 6262 or 6266) without much issue. If you want some breathing room, get a 6466. Of course you'll also need to accompanying fuel mods...etc.

A 5862? not a chance, it won't even get you in the ballpark. That's a 64 lbs/min turbo. And if it did, the shaft speed would be outrageous and wouldn't be long for this world. You'll need to run E85 and at LEAST a 6266 (or older 6262).
