Tscomptuned

Are these people really that good? I have had my GTR tuned, WRX, previous evo and just picked up another evo and have always had great customer service from other tuners.

I heard Tscomptuned has the only true FF kit but their customer service seems to be lacking. Anyone have any experience with them from an E-tune stance, or other FF options for an Evo 9?

From what I've read they are great but so are other tuners. Also, good luck trying to reach them. English Racing, Boosted Tuning, BainsTuning, ect.

Yeah, that is the impression this far. No response for a long time, then I finally get one that is all of 1 word. Problem it is appears that they have the only true FF kit for the Evo 9 and it requires them to get it done. It is a shame their communication is so poor.

I'm getting my ff installed and tuned by him currently. At first the communication is sparingly but when he finished with a project he replied way more often. I'll try to forward these threads to him when I see him but probably same answer.

Thanks for the info, did you install your FF kit? wondering if it is an easy P&P? I want to buy the thing and do it but feel like I am in a dark room trying to find the switch!!

Please let me know what you think of the FF kit and how it works out, thanks!

If you are talking about the Fitronic system you are correct. I am currently selling my fitronic setup if you are interested.

The turbo kit has nothing to do with tuning. Any tuner can tune any turbo kit.
you don't need Fitronic, either. Allegedly, Jay @ Boosted Tuning can do the same with an AEM gauge and sensor. I've had mine wired up for about a month or two. Waiting for him to get back to me about getting the flex fuel portion tuned.
After that ,I'll be able to confirm it works.
TSComp seemingly has his plate full. I'd recommend going elsewhere ,if you are wanting your car done sooner than later.

is it Fitronic ROM then or did he write his own flex fuel rom?

I think it was both. ER do it too and so does Jay @ boosted. So a few guys have the rom/definition. Ultimately though, most people should've done what Tephra did and just charge a fee for the XMod V3 for the evox.
I do not mind paying for the rom, although pay for the rom, and not be allowed to make my own changes or self tune..

Let me make sure I am stating this clearly. A true FF kit in my mind is one that allows me to put w/e Ethanol concentration I want in the car and timing/AFR etc adjust based on that content. I am speaking of the Evo 9 and using the stock ECU. My understanding is no one else is offering this right now because it appears to be an exclusive deal between Zeitronix and Tscomptuned. I luckily have a local tuner so getting tuned is not the issue, it is the peace of mind that goes with a true FF set up.

Why would you post this thread in “Dyno Tuning Results”
you have no results.

Use you Head for more than a hat rack and post in the tuning section!
