18x8 rims on 215/40/R18 tires.

Hello everyone,

I have a Mitsubishi Lancer SE with 16" rims, and i would like to get new 18" rims and tires. I was thinking of 215/40/R18 with 18x8 35 offset, and what if i was lowered?

I didn't buy the lower kit yet, but i was thinking about 1.4 inch Front and 1.3 inch Rear.

you can use both rubber numbers 215-45-18 or 225-40-18 the difference between 40 is that it goes down. everything is what you want

Thanks for your reply!!!

I was actually worried that if i got this set of tires+rims and then i lower the car, i will have to roll my fenders. So what do you suggest 215-45 or 225-40?
and if i went with the 225-40, should i get 40 offset or 35?

I personally in my lancer use 225-40-18 in about 18 x 8.5 x 35 of set
I have pro kit installed and rolled back if you do not want to roll you would have 40 or 38 off set

I decided to go with the +40 offset, but i didn't find 5X114.3 bolt pattern, which is on my car right now. i have found 5x100 bolt, do you think it matters if i got the 5x100?

Unfortunately i couldn't find +40 offset or 38 offset for the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, so i'm either with 35 or 45, and i'm not sure which one will fit best because i will lower and i don't want to roll the fenders.
