Selling a used set of Giro rotors from my Evo 9. $1600 setup, fronts mic out at 31.11 and 31.67. New is 32mm, worn out is 30mm. So there is still ~60% left in the fronts, the rears I didn't measure but show virtually no wear (evo's are much harder on fronts). I only used them for track days, they have 5-6 days in them. Really nice setup, a proper floating disc, rebuildable aluminum hat and much better vane design (venting) than oem. Save 4lbs front and 2.5lbs rear per corner. The rotor rings are avilabale from giro for $500 each, you can replace both rotors and still be at a huge savings over new. Looking for $600 including shipping.

Comments on the surface "cracking": It's not actually "cracks" it's called "crazing" which is a normal wear pattern for a rotor used in racing / track conditions. Links below explaining this. At street temps the rotors never get anywhere near their thermal threshold and they grind down before they heat cycle out. The wear indicator is actually the groove - when that's gone it's time to replace them. I ran them with st43 pads - my personal fave - excellent hpde / endurance pad and pretty easy on rotors. Also used them on my lemons e30 for years.

"The rotors with surface cracks are usually continuously serviceable as long as they are within minimum thickness, and the cracks are not expanding to catch your fingernail." - http://www.racingbrake.com/v/main/surface_cracks.asp

new rings are 500. you paid 600. thats 1100. new are 1600. math is hard.
im sorry you feel they were below your expectation but i resent your ‘they were garbage’ comment. they were exactly as decribed. you bought used brakes you got used brakes. if you want new, get off your wallet and buy new.
It's not like I'm asking for my money back. It's also not like I'm saying anything about you personally. I'm saying the rings are junk. Obviously ,I wouldn't have paid $600 had I known ,but that's the risk we take buying online. It is what it is.
Each rotor
has two or three of the larger cracks, on each side. From their website:
