Slow to Build Boost
im running a stock ECU that has been tuned. I’m currently using a grimspeed EBCS with my set up. The car is tuned to quickly spike to 1.7 bar of boost then settle down to 1.5 bar. I’ve been running my current set up for about 6 months now without any issues until now. Lately the car gets up to 1.1 bar of boost quickly then slowly climbs to about 1.4 bar of boost. When it does finally get to 1.4 bar of boost the boost gauge needle is not steady and rapidly fluctuates. I’ve done a boost leak test and corrected a few leaks but it hasn’t fixed my issue. I’m leaning towards a bad wastegate actuator but I wanted to get some opinions on whether I should look at anything else before I buy a new wastegate actuator.
