if certain oil pressure is not met it will just trigger the oil light on your dash.

Yeah, you should have the oil warning light on all the time..

The switch grounds to the block when no oil pressure illuminating the dash oil light. People doing clutch jobs and trying to move the TC out of the way usually hit this connector a few times with the TC.
