New 2015 evo gsr owner and member of this site

Hi I'm new here. My brother recently passed away and I inherited his 2015 evo gsr. My question is , is it the same as a evo x? Or is that another trim level? His current mods on the evo are top speed cat back system . Hopefully not cateless. I havent checked under the car yet, we live in a area where we need e checks. Enkei rims . Not sure if he put a new intake on it or not. As he was doing his mods on the evo. He found a new toy a 2014 ktm 1190rc8 which he crashed in April resulting in his death. So I plan on doing some more upgrades to the evo. He had plans on dropping about 10k into it. For a 800+ hp build. So with that being said I just wanted to kind of introduce myself and post here and ask a few questions. Thanks for reading

Welcome aboard @White2015evo

Hey, certainly sorry to hear about your Brothers passing, especially in an untimely departure.

Im a EvO9 owner so not the best source, but to confirm your Brothers car is certainly an EvOX but in the GSR trim

Hope we can grow you into a EvO owner & hope to see you join our community

Joe

Thanks, looks nice from that angle

Maybe you can learn to enjoy his EvO? Your Bro was certainly a mechanical guy, as he not only appreciated a high level, quick car, he was a KTM owner (certainly very familiar w/the KTM RC8 1290)

Hang out w/us & you will certainly learn all that there is about the EvO

Certainly sorry about all that happened

I plan on it. I had a charger and was active on the lx forums so I'm sure I'll be on here quite a bit learning about this car. I honestly probably wont drive this that much it was 61k miles on it. I may pull it out every once in a while or take it UK to import meets like he used to. He was well known in the car and bike scene. So i may try to continue his legacy through that
