I think we need either a NEW EVO ARRIVAL FORUM or a thread where you only post pics of yourself with your EVO..

This way, you don't have to hunt down pics of the colors and owners, etc. Plus, we can see all the happy campers in one forum ot thread!!

Besides that, they're all stock and look the same...only in different colors.

EDIT: It'll be just like when I first joined and it was picture after picture of stock Lancers or Lancers with tints and maybe wheels....maaaybe.

 

Well, I saw 35 pages of stock or modded Lacers in the new owners forum... Very few EVO's....You need an EVO only new owners forum to allow the enthusiasm that was built by lurking the Pre-Arrival discussion boards to come to a head.....

Besides, you dedicated a forum to it's "Pre-Arrival", why wouldn't you dedicate a forum to it's glorious" arrival??" Don't you see all the posts about the people picking their cars up??!!

Did you see how many times the forum titled "pics of yourself" was viewed??!! It was cool to be able to associate a face with a name.

I think it would be nice to associate a car and a name and let the owner show it off in this new forum. I counted maybe 10 people that took delivery, and maybe 5 with pics with the car...Lets get an EVO specific new owners forum going..

 

There used to be a member's rides section. There isn't one anymore. I can't say I know why (I wasn't a moderator when it was deleted) but I'm assuming it's for the same reason Mark already stated.

I agree with the face and name thing, but that's what the picture thread's there for. They could always post a pic there, in the registry or in their user gallery with themselves and/or their cars in them though.

Hey i got my three weeks ago an the stock rings has been change for 19 with 19-35 zr tires an they look good. I have a friend that work with aluminun and we are making parts for the car.

 

I think the registry covers exactly what we want in much better format.
However the current format is cumbersome. The registry really needs a filter, where from a drop down list, you can choose the model of car you want to see, and then get a list of only those. I am sure many people with the Evo 8 dont want to wade through all the lancer oz's etc, and I am sure the opposite is true as well.

 

There's the browse feature that allows you to view by specific model or you should be able to search and select a model to view.
