I see a lot of useless posts when someone states they just sent someone a PM. What’s the reason for posting a reply to the thread stating you sent someone a PM? The guy getting the PM will know he has a PM, after all he is expecting a PM because he just advertised/stated something that requires a PM be sent. What’s the purpose of telling the rest of the world (or people subscribed to that thread) you sent a PM? In the mean time if I am subscribe to this thread I get multiple useless emails stating “PM sent” and “PM replied to”. Or if I just found the tread I have to surface past a bunch of useless posts looking for threads of useful information.
