Help! I cannot load the evolutionm website from my home computer!!?

Starting from 2 days ago, this evom website doesnt
load anymore for me from my home computer. I have
tried to enter any address/link that pertains to this
website, but still nothing. I cannot view or even
attempt to log in. Could someone shed some light on
why this might be happening, or possibly on how to
correct this problem?

I havent changed any settings on my home pc, nor have
downloaded any new programs. I am still able to view
and log into other websites without any problems from
home. This website does work on other computers
outside my house

It happened to me before also. Make sure you didn't block the ip address on your firewall

First see if you can ping the site. If you can then its a web browser issue. Download Firefox or check your system for Spyware.

To ping, go to start > run, type in command and hit enter. This should bring up a command prompt consisting of a black box and a file path. Then type in "ping evolutionm.net" Then hit enter. If it says destination unreachable, or request timed out, or something of that nature then you have an issue.

+1 on the firefox, i cant stress enough how much safer it is than IE at the moment

thanks for the quick responses

1. tried the ip address 216.193.220.4
but no luck

2. disabled my firewall - still nothing

3. firefox gives me this

The connection has timed out
The server at www.evolutionm.net is taking too long to respond.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer\'s network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

4. tried the ping - the result =

Request timed out X 4
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss)

So I guess I have some sort of issue...

Try to ping another site like yahoo.com

If you get no response that means you have no Internet connection

If the google search comes up it looks like he does have an internet connection. If you already tried disabling your firewall, if you have cable or dsl try resetting your modem and router(if you have one). Just unplug the devices wait five seconds, then plug them back in.

How many computers do you have at home?

Does this happen on more than one computer?

Are you able to ping 216.193.220.4?

I can ping yahoo or any other address that I use except evom.

I disconnected then reconnected the modem after a few minutes, but still no change.

I only have one computer that I use, but I am thinking about hooking up my old pc to see if I can get this website to load. I gonna guess no.

I still get the \"request timed out\" when ping evolutionm.net or their ip address 216.193.220.4

I am successful in logging on from another computer outside of my house. I am going to try again on yet another different computer / location to see what will happen.

Could the evolutionm website be blocking my computer\'s ip address?
or
Would a block from \"some website\" on someone\'s ip address cause a similar result?

One more thing you can try.

Can you do a traceroute from the command prompt?

tracert www.evolutionm.net
and
tracert 216.193.220.4

do they both time out somewhere or get "unable to resolve target system?

It may be a routing issue. Go to this website http://www.hidemyass.com/ and see if you can reach if from there. This is a free website proxy so it would route a different way.

I\'m going through the same thing right now as well. IP resolves just fine, but no response to pings, telnet on port 80, doesn\'t matter what computer I\'m on here. I am able to browse via proxy, but I shouldn\'t have to do this.

It might be a routing issue. You might want to contact your ISP.
