Virus warnings while surfing the site?

Warning: Something's Not Right Here!
forums.evolutionm.net contains content from bbrooks.doitbig.org, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.
Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else.

If you understand that visiting this site may harm your computer, proceed anyway.

I surf with google chrome, windows 7 OS. I can not access the tuning forums freely. Particularly the cold start AEM thread. Thanks.

Hi,

I not finding any warnings with IE or Opera. Once in a while one of the ad groups will serve up an ad that Google has deemed linked to a malware site. Google usually removes the ad or the site is cleared. Are you still getting the warning?

It's probably the browser you are using. Try Firefox or IE.

You might want to try Spybot search and destroy. I'm not saying you d/l a virus, but maybe a malicious script has ended up on your comp.

Hey guys I have forfox and several days ago on this site (only window open) windows defender came on after the evom site froze. It detected a virus and my malwarebytes detected it came from this website. They were caught, quarantined and removed, but for now I am only viewing the site on my iPod touch.

My uncle who runs it for a school system found the site to have some similar reports.

So be warned. Any updates on this?

Hi!

In most all cases the warnings generated from Evom are via an Ad that may link back to a site that has been flagged. They are generally quickly removed or rotated out by the ad placer and do not remain persistent. We are not seeing a large number of these types of reports currently.

Lately, when I log on at home I get a Malicious warning. I'm using Windows 7 and IE. My Kaspersky catches it, so no worries, but since I saw this I figured I might as well say something.

I received a virus from this site. I wasn't logged in, which is when the ads seem to pop up, and when the site loaded I got a Java error, then my machine went nuts. I received the Alureon virus...Windows Defender didn't even catch it in time. I got rid of the virus, but I notice when I go into evom not logged in, I get a java error with some file called new.mp3, this is with IE8.

Why do I have to scan my computer every time I visit this website??? This is the only one.
