Dancing display

The forum windows appear to move up and down slightly every second or so.

When this happens it appears from the status bar at the bottom of the browser window that it continously send refresh urls.

Windows XP with IE 7 (work issued laptop, cannot upgrade)

Could be, this only started happening a couple of weeks ago at most. Is there a way to turn off Face Book to see if it makes a difference?
