In Anne Arundel Co. MD, just got done tarping our leaking patio door to deck that is leaking into the ceiling in basement. Winds gusting over 40 now and expecting it to get rough into tomorrow AM from here. Bay Bridge and all local bridges closed and blocked. Gusts expected to exceed 75 MPH on the Eastern Shore. State of Emergency statewide and speed limit on all Interstate and highways at 45 MPH with restrictions.
Big storm folks...

Checking back in as well. Our power keeps going on and off but still holding in there. The winds are definitely worse than they were before and a ton of trees have come down. It's pretty much a waiting game at this point.

We dodged the heavy rain as Sandy landed a little farther south. We got around 2" so far with another 1'' to 3" or so expected through tomorrow. The winds are now cranking up with gust to 34 mph which is significant for my area. They will continue to increase overnight as Sandy passes south. I have a big tree limb down in my back yard as it just missed the back porch roof. Power cycled once so far. The state of PA has closed all major interstates and highways in the greater Philadelphia area as of 7:00pm tonight until 2:00am tomorrow.

it's pretty calm in virginia beach, va now...I just noticed that about half of my neighbor's vinyl siding is gone on one side of their house and the other side is sagging pretty badly.

Seacoast NH here

Been pretty windy, and heavy rains for the last few hours. Calmed down quite a bit (for now). News is saying tomorrow will be worse. Lots of power outages around my area, but I haven't lost it yet. Stay dry everyone!

Williamsport,pa checking in. Safe n sound here Nothing too serious so far. Light-moderate rain/Moderate wind occasional 30mph gusts. Still have power not a flicker. Few old trees knocked down. That's about it

Got the Evo covered up(don't have the luxury of a garage) Work shutdown till tomorrow night. Case of beer.. I'm set Stay Safe

Update* Wind is starting to pick up pretty bad. A lot of debri flying around. I saw what looked like a trampoline rolling down the street. Not much rain just a lot of wind.

Tripped a recloser. If winds are still serious, expect your power to go out. 60 people from my company are already headed your direction to help restore service for people who have lost power.
