Looks like some changes were added to how images are handled and it really makes browsing show & shine threads horrible. The images are re-sized so small that you can't even get a feel for the image you are looking at. I know something like this had to be added for the people who don't re-size their images to a reasonable width and height, but there is a better solution.

There are other forums that resize the image, but instead of opening the original image in a new browser, you can expand it within the forum. Here is an example. This makes browsing a thread much more enjoyable because you don't have to open a new tab each time you want to experience the full glory of an image. Also you'll notice that the images aren't as drastically re-sized like they are currently being on EvoM.

Agreed.

I think 800x600 would be a decent default resolution, anything over that though might necessitate a resize window like there is now.
