Shiv has confirmed with me on the phone that he will come to Dallas (FIS) and tune your cars! The date is not yet finalized but looks to be something like March. The schedule will be posted in the Vishnu forum along with pricing when it is finalized. If you own an XEDE, there is no excuse now not to get it custom tuned! More to follow.....

I thought Shiv has made it cleared that he won't tune on a Mustang Dyno and I thought FIS has a Mustang Dyno? No?

 

You can't ignore demand. There are no "Shiv approved" dynos in the area of which I am aware. You can always try to have him do a "street tune" if that's what is preferred.

i'm driving to pleasanton in april for tuning on something shiv is comfortable with. yeah shiv tuned on alamo's dynojet last time but that shop gets smogged real bad after about 5 cars. i think alamo is great but i was coughing soot up for a few days afterwards. i think shiv would rather tune on a dynojet than a mustang though.

 

I've heard too many bad things about their dyno.

 

The location isn't dead set yet. If there is a place you guys would rather have it in March, Pleasanton or whatever, just let me know. I don't have an XEDE and I am trying to set this up for all of you. So just post up what you want. I just keep hearing all you XEDE guys complaining that Shiv hasn't been here in a while or he isn't coming down so I wanted to help. Let me know. The preliminary prices are very good. So asasin79, I don't know what you're going to pay, but you might want to do it with Shiv in March. I was surprised.

 

sorry evotexas didn't know you were shiv's pimp, but i have no interest in "doing it" with him. pm me the prices. the wife and i are taking vacation and driving to california in april if everything goes ok.

I am of course down with it. I actually left David at Vishnu a PM about this a few days ago. Alamo completely smogged up when we did our dyno day there, this is nothing negative about Alamo at all, there was just no ventilation. FIS is a larger facility that probably will not smog up the same way, but I would like to see the Mustang Dyno's smoothing feature backed down a bit so that Shiv could see exactly what was going on. One way or another it sounds good to me, did Shiv indicate how many people he wanted to tune?

 

As many as possible. We will set it up so everyone gets an hour. It will be a Sat/Sun event. I will set it up with the same structure as the TurboTrix events. You can see a schedule in the TT forum for an idea. There are two threads there.

 

Sign me up. Of course that assumes Vishnu ships me my XEDE and *somebody* gets my megan exhaust stuff in by then.
