Yeah, it was cool meeting you guys there! Bob and Robert had some awesome runs! My fastest last night was a 13.3 at 104. My last run was a 13.47 missing 3rd gear....so I probably could have done better...... next month I will have my intercooler piping kit and a Works P2 brain flash.....

Your welcome Robert for the helmet.....

Thats not the fastest I have ran.....just that night I couldnt get to my best is all. Believe me I was disappointed! Maybe next time...
My best time so far is 13.112 @ 105 . I didnt try much though, only did 4 runs. I like to take into mind that I drove 2 and a half hours to the track and then another 2 and a half back home, so I didnt really want to overdue it.......I am not one to make excuses.....i thought I had pretty good runs though.

By the way Robert and Bob, when is the next SAR session?

Running in the 12's is not nearly as easy as it sounds. I would suggest you try it. BTW you and I meet in Laredo. I was staying at the Holiday Inn and talked with you at your lot across the street.

I guess I am about 2 days late to see this post, would have loved to see what the stock MR could do at the track. Anyone down for this next wed.

I agree with Bob. People make it sound like running 12s is just a matter of a few parts and nothing more. It isn't nearly that easy unless. Our cars are difficult to launch, epsecially with the stock clutch.

Maybe it is easier if you spent some time on the track prior to owning the EVO. From my experience though, my WRX was much easier. It wasn't near as fast, but the learning curve was much quicker.

Ray, now you're putting the pressure on me. I guess I'll have to turn up the boost.

No Cody, just turn around and look out the FRONT window. You'll be fine.
