Texas Evo meet in Victoria-Free Food and Gas

The local dealership, Atzenhoffer, is having a huge event on the 4th of June. Some of the features are:

1. 2006 Eclipse give away
2. Car Show with both cash and gift certificate prizes
3. Aftermarket Parts Suppliers (Vendors)
4. Evolution VIII Showcase

They have asked me to roundup some area Evo's to feature in a special showcase to be located at the front of the dealership next to the main drag. This is an opportunity for some of the people from Houston, San Antonio and Austin to make our cars the center of attention. The dealership has committed to providing a full tank of gas and a $25.00 gift certificate to Chili's for every Evo that attends. You need to be here by 11:30 and the Showcase runs untill 4:00pm. Anyone who wants to detail their car early can do so at my house prior to the Showcase. Please consider making the trip and I promise a good time.

PM me or post in this thread if you have any questions or wish to help out with your attendence.

So far I've got :
1. HiHeatEVO
2. ovenmit331
3. C.DAVE.GO
4. sgplancer
5. robertrinaustin
6. Pete Vasquez
7. kbp2025
8. Lowness
9.
10.

SEE POST #42 FOR DIRECTIONS

Let's meet here no later than 11:00am on Saturday the 4th. The dealership is about 5 minutes from my house, so no worries.

Whoosh,

Perhaps you should change the title to something else, like: "Texas Evo meet--free gas, free food"..........I think people might be skipping over your post...just my opinion. I would gladly attend if I lived closer.

Bob,

How long does it take to get to Victoria from San Antonio? I'd be very interested in attending, it's just that I usually don't get off work on Saturday until noon. I might be able to reschedule a couple of clients earlier though.

Let me know, this sounds like it would be fun.

Whoosh,

I will be there if I can swing the day off from work. I was wondering also how far the drive is up to Victoria.

Tony,

I'd be great if you came down to Victoria! It takes the same amount of time as the drive from Victoria to San Antonio. LOL. But seriously, it takes about 2 1/4 hours.

j8,

It's under 140 miles from the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. Pleasant drive, really. I hope you can make it.

I'll talk to a few local evos and see if we can get a group to come over. If I remember Victoria is just about an hour and half outside of Houston. How far is it from lets say Richmond/Rosenburg area? I would be interested in making the drive.

are they really giving away a new eclipse?

It's around an hour drive from Rosenburg. My "Best Man" is from there and that's what it takes him. It'd be great if you could make it. If you have any more detailed questions, PM me.

Yes, I'm not sure of all of the rules, but the concept is they are filling the car with soda cans (or something) and the person who can guess the number is the winner of a 2006 Eclipse.

One other important point. This dealership is "mod friendly" and if you need some work done or parts from Mitsu, shoot me a PM and I'll help in any way that I can.
