When in this thread did I say I had a "better tune"? I have a generic doctor'd mail in tune that you are trying to compare to what, a custom dyno tuned ecutek? If you are implying that I think Mark is a better tuner, you are spot on.
I laugh at what you call drama.

+1 For getting TT to tune your car. Mark can make impressive reliable hp from your car, and you won't have to worry about the potential mzm screwjob.
Goodluck with whatever you do, and I hope you enjoy your flashed IX.

Thanks for your concern
but, I already have glasses and recently had my eyes checked.
Its pretty hilarious that everytime someone post a thread or mention.......MZM, you are so quick to rag or put the shop down.
The thread title is "Evo IX Flash options in Central Texas", and your telling people not to get a flash from MZM. Hmmmmmmmmmm, very interesting.........did you not get pulled by a MZM tuned STI in your cammed, re-flashed EVO 8
. So asked yourself this.....who has the screwjob tune

Just to chime in here:
I've had quite a bit a bit of work done at MZM on both the Evo's I've owned. They have ALWAYS been professional in their service. My cars were treated as if they were one of their own. Mohammed has always tried to make sure that I was satisfied with the work done whether it be installing parts or tuning the car and has always followed up with a phone call to make sure that everything was in order. That's customer service...
As far as cost goes, that's objective. They have a large facility in Austin which certainly has a fair amount of overhead. Usually most people will ask how much a certain job will cost before having the work done, I know I always do. Seems to me the decision to have something done is up to the customer so it's best to be informed.
If you have a problem with Mohammed or MZM, why don't YOU give them a call and get it straightened out rather than simply trying to post up your "bad" experience with them. Might be the civil thing to do....
just my .02 ...

EVERYONE is well aware of your dislike towards MZM, but have you once, personally informed the owner of MZM
Instead of acting like a child and spreading venom thru the internet about the shop.My vaild point that you continue to ignore is your SCREWJOB TUNE

Come on Milo, last I checked you were a pretty alright dude.
As for MZM, I have no further comment. What has been said, has been said.
If we are going to keep running around in circles then that is a real shame. Heck, even the originator of this thread is no longer asking for advice. These forums are becoming less of a resource everyday.

Later...

My car runs safely and very smooth. I have yet to "ignore" it, and have previously commented on it in this thread. I will do so once again for those like you who have trouble reading. I got a base mail in so that i could drive my car without worry from my new mods. When the time comes, I will get a custom from Mark. I could care less if my weak tune causes my car to run bellow it's potential right now.
He has a sn, and i'm sure he can read. It wouldn't take much effort to contact me. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ght=Fastest+Mr

I have no problem racing anyone as it's part of the hobby that I enjoy. Don't however expect me to give you the time of day.

And let me clarify.......... banned. Your language and confrontational approach is not welcome here. Comeback in 7 days and act like a member of a community and not some e-thug. If you can't, your screen name, IP and post will removed forever. Thanks.

I just wanted to chime in here. I took my car to MZM yesterday. I had a downpipe and testpipe installed w/ the CEL fix, and a custom EcuTek tune. I have to say that Mohammad and everybody there were awesome. They were very professional and did great work, my car is faster, and runs better than stock. Mohammad even did what he could to help me fix my ill-fitting catback. My advice is that you can't go wrong with MZM, it may seem a little more expensive, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I will certainly continue to bring my car to MZM, and I live in the Dallas area, so that's no short drive.
