Rims got jacked!

So this morning i wake up and walk to my car and cant believe my eyes, my f!@#$ car is sitting on bricks. i cant even describe how i felt and to add on they left a empty blunt wrapper with blunt guts next to my car so i guess they were chiefing on that green while they jacked me. Once i cooled down i did the usual file a report cops didnt even really care, then i complained to my apartment office because their suppose to have security patrolling, all they said was that i should have bought renters insurance. So now i got to take a bus to school until i get some new wheels. Thanks for reading just wanted to vent some steam and also if anyone knows any good deals on rims let me know.

Car alarm isn't gonna do crap unless you've got a tilt sensor--I'm definitely getting one of those when I get my alarm. I'm sorry for the loss. Wheel locks?

getting wheels off without the lock key is EASY, so don't think that key locks will keep your wheels on.

Sorry this happened to you. I've had my car broken into before and it SUUUUUCKS.

You might watch houstonimports, ebay and craigslist to see if they show up.

Thats when you do what I do engrave someting on them on the inside or somewhere only you would know. Then wait to see for a sale on the same type, ask to see them, if yours get get local police to pick them up for you.

Alarm with tilt sensor is the way to go, expensive for some alarms but cheaper than buying new wheels. Wheel locks only slow them down, they can be taken off if you know what your doing.

Sorry that this happened to you, I hope you can get them back. You should ask the neighbors if they seen anything.

with an alarm you would think that "cracking" the lug nuts loose would trip the alarm.
i have a top dollar alarm on my evo now and it is real sensitive to shock and motion at the windows. the wheels may be taken but at least my car wont just drive off with an alarm and emotionalizer.

will auto ins. cover the wheels?

that happend to my cousin and what we did was we bought 5 set of wheel locks (4 per pack)
and ramdomly put them in bag and shake it and then we put 5 locks of ramdom key in each wheel never again got stolen and still park in same area. bad news if you catch a flat and is cold or raining but its better than new wheels. or mark them locks that you only know.
just my opinion and what i did
