Wideband gauge installation?
Wideband gauge installation?
I just opened the boxes and holy crap there's like a ton of stuff. Anyone ever installed one of these before? I'm thinking it's fairly straightforward (o2 sensor in the bung [teehee], wires up to under the dash, wire gauge in. Done. But any tips or tricks to think about?
well I've not even taken the AP out of the box to be honest... the best it will be able to do it tell you what the primary o2 sensor sees, right? And the primary o2 sensor isn't a wide band?
Dallas... 4+ hours at the speed limit.
I've done some massive stereo installs before, so it's not like I don't have the skills... just I wasn't expecting so many wires
... then again, it does have a USB port and all that crap.

Just talk to KevinD, he might have some pointers. Wait........ I thought you didn't go with the optional wideband bung on your O2/DP. I'm sure you know where to install the sensor, but for my own info, where would you install the sensor since you don't have the bung on your DP.

Why am I going to regret it? It was the same price as the AEM, but it works with the AccessPort's software.
Any is there a reason to pull power/ground direct from the ECU? It's not like it's smoothed or anything with caps is it?
