Turbo Timer problem "I NEED HELP"

Ok I have a greddy TT. I have it since the day I bought my car about 3 yrs ago. Well Last weekend I decided to put a system since my evo is slow anyways. All I did is remove the head unit put the RCA jack and nothing else. Now my turbo timer is not working properly. I can set the timer to what I want to but ones I turn off the car and start it the memory I set goes back to zero and it does not time anymore if I drive far or if I rev it a little higher.

So did I pinch some wire that f'd up my tt? did I broke my TT? I don't know what to do? Do I need to buy a new one or can it be fix? Please help!

I know nothing about the turbo timer - but I would guess you maybe pulled a wire loose or something. Check all the cables to the turbo timer.

Get rid of that greddy, I say that because I KNOW many friends that have had problems with them. Im not just saying it cause I have no clue. Other will say otherwise once they read my post. I would go with an Apexi or HKS, I have owned both and never had a problem with either. I would disconnect it an see if your car still has the same problem. Once you do that you should know exactly whats wrong.....good luck

it happened because the turbo timer started your car. Something is not right with the wiring. Did you do the stereo install or did a shop? If a shop did it they messed something up and should fix it. If you did it, well, you get to fix it

I try checking all the connection and make sure no loose wire, I disconnect and reconnect the plugs but still the same, some how the time memory keeps going back to zero. So anyways I think I'll just go buy the APEXI or HKS just like you said.

You will not go wrong with either one they are both great TT. I like the HKS type 1 cause you could use the RPM warning setting like a shift light and it has many other features. This is the only reason why I sitched from the Apexi to the HKS. research wich one would work for you.

I have an extra harness if you need one, its brand new and never opened, makes for a quick install.
