Hey got a question. Can you have your front plate in your front windshield? I looked up the law and it just says to be displayed in the front and back of the car... just hopping to get clarification.

Do you know they just had session in texas and a cop cannot fine you becasue they forgot to put in the law when they had passed certain bills. So as of now until they have some sort of special session they cannot fine you or anything. look it up on ksat.com. You going to the meet tonight?

 

i got pulled over a few weeks ago for no front plate, and the cop decided to give me tickets for no proof of insurance and a loud muffler too. my front plate and muffler got dismissed in court easily with pictures. i basically just taped my plate onto my front and showed it to the judge and she dismissed it lol. i would never drill holes onto my front bumper!

 

There's a product that bolts to the bottom of the bumper and actually allows you to fold the plate down and slide it under the car for when you want that clean look. Or you can just use some L brackets and bolts/washer to bolt it to the bottom of the bumper.

 

better safe than sorry. IMO.

Yeh, the law states that the license plate must be on the front most part of your vehicle! Crappy law, but it's still a law!
