8k hid's illegal in texas?
 

Just wondering because i have less than a year left of the military and i am coming back home to dallas, tx for good. THANK GOD! Dont want to get a ticket coming home..lol

I am not sure but I don't believe that they are illegal here in TX, I see em all over the place. Glad your getting to come home!

I know 9k is illegal, my buddy got a fix it ticket about a month ago.

Hows lighting output with that kit? compared with an evo with factory HID's

well i am overseas right now...a buddy of mine has the left side installed right now...i just had the headlights done by evodave...so soon you guys will see a thread with them in night and day shots...i will post in the show and shine forum....buddy told me they look as good or better than the bmw lights...the blue is nice

the factory is 4300 i believe...so the ouput is 2x blue..you can see the blue hue even during daylight

what about the purple hue? how many k is that?
