i was car profiled!

 

I am always profiled!! Its the wing and a car, plus young guy driving thats looking for problems in their eyes! Not much you can do but complain! And even then not much will happen because they might have probably cause that you were either intending to street race or a similar car to yours was racing in the area! Trust me my uncles are cops and they said just make sure you follow the laws and just be respectful to them. if they stopped you it was for a reason! Maybe to just scare you into not doing something like racing or just trying to see if you are someone else! Its happend to me that another BBY EVO was racing in the area of where I was and I fit the discription of the person! I didn't get a ticket but is that profiling yes! Don't worry if you didn't ge a ticket if you did just bring it up in court that you feel you were unlawfully profiled! Good luck!

 

I did get a ticket, Criminal Violation, all for merging quickly behind a corvette. Thats it!

 

How quickly and if you were more than half a car length close to him thats also tailgating! See that is probable cause(not trying to say you did something wrong nor go against you)! Where did this happen and what PD gave you the ticket? He probably thought you were trying to entice the corvette to race with you! Sorry to hear that bro!!! Dude, I cannot begin to tell you actually how many people have told me this... I have also been "Profiled" with a Miramar Motorman.. I played along with him until he really started to go off the deep end with his story on my exhaust and such.. Then I was like, Uh will ya look at this, I'm a cop too! Now go take your bullschit story and stick it where the sun don't shine.. As long as you aren't actually doing something crazy (like I usually am), just be patient with whatever they're sayin and be respectful.. Most times you can get out of it... But, if you still don't believe in what he did was right, you can always take it to court.. But you have to look at it like PRVRT said, young guy-souped up car (to him)- goin a little fast- that's what he's lookin at.. So he figures that everyone does stupid schit, it's just that he never saw you do it on other days so he figures that he'll get ya today!! Kinda like the way I feel about crotch-rockets.. You CAN'T own one of those and actually do the speed limit, or not do wheelies, or drive between cars, or run from the cops.. I'm not sayin that they all do it, but I can garantee that 90% of them do... Unless all the crazy ones drive through my city.. Sorry you got nailed, maybe he was just havin a bad day?!
