I am pretty sure by these numbers, i should be running 11's on pump gas pretty easily with a decent launch. I'd like to throw it on the dyno, but H and H's is reading very low. I suppose i could throw it back on there when the tune is done and i will see how much HP the turbo gave me. The car is strong though. I hold 23 psi with no taper to redline. I've still got some room to play with as far as the tune goes. My EGT's are still only 1300* and somehow i am only hitting about 260 in my 2 byte load cells. I have seen people hit as high as 290 with just cams... so i should be able to find that power with the right combo of timing and fuel
I don’t know what I was reading, but I just realize that you got cams and a 20g. Great man. Throw that thing on the dyno and play with your timing. who cares about low numbers on the mustang. You already know what AFR's you want, pick a load, go 1K rpm at a time and find peak torque(not insulting your intelligence, stating obvious "for some"). Have fun. You said 11's on pump. I say "you better"

Hey Jason. Do you have your EGT hooked to a runner or after the turbo?

Also(evo flash 101) What kind of pressure unit is the load cell. is it kpa or baro or some kind of average. Ive never messed with it..just curious.

yeah sean, knowing my luck... you will hit like 450hp 500 tq lol.... Then i have no excuse lol.

Bobby, my egt is in my downpipe right below the O2 housing. As far as the type of load cell, i have no idea to be honest, i just know what i have hit in the past prior to cams (about 280 at times)... im sure as the tune gets tighter, my load will increase. For now, im going to clean my intake filter to help with getting air into the turbo, Im also looking for another intake if any of you have one available. Id be willing to trade as well. I wish i could throw it on the dyno and adjust the numbers until my tq is as high as i can get it without knock... but, that is the benefit of having an ems with live tuning. Good news is, from what i hear, ecuflash is coming to that really soon, i just dont have it now. So i have to run, look at the log, look at the dynograph and adjust accordingly. Then run again, and manage to keep my temps down to at least get a somewhat repetitive result. Bobby you need to get back here so you can give me a hand

We have to find out what type of pressure unit they are. I think they are a % of KPA. I wish we had a Dyna Pack or Dyno Dynamics dynos close by. They give you LIVE torque and in like 30 min you have your timing set and done. Instead in the mustang you have to run a pass stop the dyno get the print out and start over. They are only good for full throttle tuning. That’s why I haven’t gone to H&H and dyno cause it will cost me a fortune, to set timing from scratch and not just full throttle. I just set it up conservative and play with AFR until I get my fuel map/ AFR "flat" across the load "PSI". Can’t wait to see that program you said. We can road tune all day and forget the dyno.

Jason you should certainly see 11's on pump. I ran a 12.009 on pump and you're right up there with me. I'm sure it's only a good launch away

yeah i know... would be nice..... i have logworks now as well, just trying to get it work with Vista. Logworks is pretty nice. Tuning my car isnt as easy as the viii... you have the MIVEC to play with and there is a lot of power to be had with a good mivec map. I have a great one in the car now, and i am working with a guy in order to maximize things... give me about a week, and ill throw it back on the dyno to see where im at after the turbo install. I'm also trying to track down a few mods here and there...

if anyone is getting rid of there hks rs intake, i'll take it off your hands. I've been looking at the buschur intake, but i'm not sure if i want it or not, i cant make up my mind. Jason, we have to meet up so you can check out the painted wheels. If you decide you want to do yours, it wont take but about 2hours and about $20. The paint dries in 12 seconds. Let me know.

Actually RMR is one of the ones i was looking at, but i cant take the intake you are using... that just wouldnt be nice ! Maybe when you get back we can give it a try and see if i am flowing any better with it. My problem is my choice of intakes are limited because of the ACD reservoir being so close and the fact that i dont want a bottle neck. I may have to break down and get the buschur if Justin doesnt come thru. Im definitely getting a new DP though.
