And who told you this? What would they be giving tickets for at the front gate? Who ever gave you that info is crazy. Unless your doing some thing you shouldn't be doing they wont just give you a ticket out of the blue. My car is heavily modified and I go throught the gate all the time. I call BS on this one!

Thanks for the support in your sig BTW....

Whenever any of you guys are ready, feel free to let me know and we can set up another tune day. I still want another session with your car, and as i said, cost will be minimal, just dyno fee and a few bucks

[I]NOTICE!

PMO is receiving complaints regarding motorcycles and other vehicles with altered suspensions and excessively loud exhaust systems.

As a reminder:

XXXX XXXXXX paragraph XXXX prohibits the altering of exhaust systems of motor vehicles to include the removing of mufflers or their baffles to increase their noise. Straight pipes on a motorcycle/truck are not mufflers.

The XXXX also prohibits altered suspensions that raise or lower a vehicle more than six (6)inches above or below its original manufactured height. If you have a six inch lift and you add larger tires you have violated that standard and pose a safety risk to your fellow service members, civilian employees and family members.

Lowering a vehicle's suspension so that the driver must slow down, to cross a railroad track or other routine obstacle, is also a violation as it can cause rear end collisions.

If your vehicle matches any of these descriptions please be advised that PMO will issue the registered owner a "Fix it" citation requiring them to comply with regulations or forfeit their Base Decal.

These citations will be issued at the gates or in parking lots whenever violations are observed.

The owner will be required to report to the Traffic Court Clerk within 3 working days.

doesnt sound like this applies to you... is your car slammed ? im guessing your drop is no more than 2 inches below factory level. I dont slow down for railroad anythings, there is no need. I go the same speed as everyone else. I think that is referring to those people with extremely lowered cars that have to watch out for rocks in the road.

As for the exhaust, your car is not going to be as loud as they are talking about because you should not be going over 50 on post anywhere. Also, you do have a muffler, not a straight pipe. Unless you are like here at Bragg where we have a freeway going thru our post. To me it sounds like they are referring to harley's or the big raised trucks with straight pipes that sound like harleys when they are jusr cruising normal speeds.

Hey guys... i want to set up another dyno/tuning day here locally at H and H.... this one has a purpose though. Im keeping it quiet, but a buddy of mine has been without his evo for some time now. He blew his engine due to a freak occurrence while he was tuning it and then after he paid to repair it, something else happened and he is back to having no car again. I want to set up a tune and give him all the cash i make so he can get his car back up again. He is so miserable without his car. He is always the first one over here to help me with mine and help everyone else with their cars as well. He practically gave me a complete 35 setup for my car also because he doesnt think his car will ever work again. It is going to cost about 2k to get his car back together and running right. Id like to try and help him out.

Here is what i can do... 125 for 4 cars or less, 100 for 5 to 7 cars, 75 for over 7. The dyno fee as always is 125. Let me know if you are interested... help me help out this guy and get his car back in his hands... if you guys just want to dyno if we get enough people i will work on lowering their price, but its 70 bucks for 3 pulls but my buddy wont see any of that money, but the more people the merrier. I am also available for any installs you may need. Cams, exhausts, boost controllers etc... anything but major components can be done ie clutches, tranny's etc.

Thanks for reading guys

Sounds good Jason. I have those few things to install before my next event Sunday November 11th. I would gladly be up for the tuning session day (as long as it is SOON)

Damn, that sucks big time. Everyone needs a friend like bigric. I hope this works out for you and you know I can't wait to get back home and get my cams put in. This will be the first time I have done anything internal on either of my Evos and I am nervous and excited at the same time. See everyone soon enough. Good luck to you on this situation Jason.

i also forgot to mention... retunes will be 50 plus the dyno fee... ill add that to the list.

Martin, i will give you a buzz sometime shortly, but its looking like tuesday if the weather is good, i will be up that way to pick up the rims, tune your ride and then get mine all prettied up ..... If you can find a way to get Justin the rims before then that may help out... other then that, i will get with him as far as what order we need to do things. Id think meeting up with you in the a.m. giving you my car, then taking yours, tune it, go see justin while tuning it... come back, get my car then head back to justins to get the inspection and rims mounted. Can you be done with the car by 3 or 4 ? i could be up there by 10 probably at hte latest

Jason when will this be happening? On a weekend I hope! This will be a good chance for all the Jacksonville guys to get together. Jason give me a round about time and date you want to kick this, and I''ll see if we can't get a few guys together and make the trip down.

ATTENTION ALL JACKSONVILLE EVO OWNERS:

If your interested in finally getting together and heading to H&H, to help out one of our own let me know. The more the better! Doesn't matter if your heavly modded or still stock. Get on the dyno and let my man Jason work his magic. Trust me he does great things to these cars. So get off your asses and lets do this.

when is good for you guys ? the sooner the better though... how about next payday weekend ? that will give you guys a couple weeks and you can scare up the cash. November 17th is that date... unless you guys want to do it sooner. You let me know, ill cater to you. The sooner the better for my buddy though. He has his engine back from the machine shop and he is going to start trying to find parts and hopefully not sell his sole to get them lol.....
