how about lancer only? I'm on charlotte but drive a ralliart. The car is so rare I have only seen four or five others since I bought it, so there is no one to hang out with and talk about I'm not gonna make it this time anyway, but if you guys wanna keep it all evo in the future I'll understand.

 

Personally I don't have a problem with it, especially since the new Ralliart is essentially a detuned Evo. I'll bring it up with the group tonight to see what everyone thinks.

i was looking for meetups all last month, although i guess I didn't want to make a new post about it

I'm up in NJ until May but then I'm returning back to the QC and hopefully these meets will continue and grow.

I went to a meet last month that i heard about on another car website and I saw two evo's there. One was a white ix mr, another was a yellow viii rs.

I've only been up in NJ a week but there's a philly evo meet at the end of jan, so I at least have that to look fwd to

edit: btw, the last two times i've been driving on tryon near the university area i've passed a black evo TWO times in the exact same spot...anyone on here the owner of that car?

 

Man this really sounds like fun. Too bad I can't make it. Let me know how this turns out. Next time when theres a meet and if I can make it, I'll get my cuz to come out with his Evo too. He is not a member on this forum...not too sure why he don't just register but some of you guys might know him. He drives an orange 03 Evo. Like the turbo trix evo. I might have seen some of you guys around. I have seen a silver evo in RockHill, a silver one driving on S. Tryon near Bi-Lo and the new Super Target, and a white Evo driving on S. Tryon near Arrowwood.

 

That's definitely me you saw, I have a white RS and take that route to and from work everyday.

A pure guess based on sightings and number of users, there have to be at least 30+ Evo owners in the greater Charlotte area.

 

Yeah when I was still living in Clt, I had a hard time finding and meeting Evo owners too. But I agree with you, hopefully the Evo meets here will continue and grow strong.

 

Yeah I figured it was you, cuz it was an asian driver. I have alot of relatives and even my parents house is all up and down S. Tryon.

 

I went to school at USC for 4 years. Aside from that lived in Charlotte my whole life. Just bought my evo in Nov and love it! I loved usc but i hated columbia haha.

 

If it looked stock, it was most likely me. Gotta run to the burbs to get my errands done!

Is MrRuben a yellow viii owner? If so I met him a few weeks before I came up to NJ. he's a cool dude. we talked about trying to get an evo meet started but you've taken the lead quite well
