Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area Meet

Ok, so just as an idea I was throwing around at work. I'm thinking of doing a monthly potluck. I'd put up a list of needed items and people would claim them. then you'd come out, eat some food, watch a movie(no cable tv) or just shoot the $h1t. Any takers? I feel like I've been mooching of Dan and Jason's houses long enough.

Yeah its getting nutty. So I think Dan and I were talking about the fall cookout/meet and thought that October would be a good month to make it happen. That being said just need everyone's imput as to which weekend works best for people. I know that I will prob be available the last two weekends (20th/27th). Also do you all want to try and do the park thing again or just meet up at my house (or someone else's if there are volunteers).

Any good shops in the Raleigh/Cary/Durham area? Prefer not go to fayetteville. Just need a 30k service and Leith Mitsubishi as well as CBS in durham have no idea what is going on at all! Leith tells me you don't need to change the X mr trans filter ever!! CBS service manager says there is no way the paper filter can be 140 dollars when its just a screw in filter, but that's the OEM price. Good to see they have NEVER used this part.

Ok folks, it's looking like the fall meet is starting to take shape. As some recall, we had a spring meet this year at Jordan Lake and it was a great turnout. We are looking at having the fall meet possible on Sunday, October 28th. We're gonna try a park again, and are thinking Umstead Park off of Glenwood Ave. Jason and I went and scouted it a while back and it had ample parking and, most importantly, was low car friendly haha
Is that a day that folks would be available to meet? We haven't been able to hang out as a group in a while so I'd like to find a day that works for most folks.
