The tree falling on my house caused a power surge..OMG..it fried the coax cable up the power pole and down the street..now I am wondering what the wiring in my house is like..time to call an Electrician....Kenny is it time for all of us to get a Group Discount at some Psychic reader ?
It's funny you mentioned a tree falling on your house (although that in and of itself is not humorous at all), I don't recall if it was thursday night, or some time this weekend (my mind is once again, a blur of unrelated activities), one of the neighbors had an oak try lying partially through their house as well. The only tree on my lot that I've got any control over is a pine tree that will certainly bisect my workshop whenever I pick up a new project car (or park the evo in there again )
I love treed lots but man in a big storm they're scary. When opel came through 16 years ago three trees came down in my parent's back yard and obliterated the back half of the garage/workshop and a built-in greenhouse, dog pen, and various other things. Makes a huge mess

hm. pulled out all the 'creative' stops to fix what turned out to be a stuck intake valve (guess I oughta stop using ****ty old gas), basically I had to glue the layered steel head gasket pieces back together with copper kote lol. Worked well enough though. Dang gasket set for it is an appalling $6.54. Reckon I'll order one up. might get the carb kit too, thing has gotten a bit cantankerous on startup.

Well this week is coming to an end. Delivered 2 Evos to their awaiting owners, both customers extremely happy with the results. Now onto the Cookout....we're going to have some Butt and Ribs tomorrow, talk about cars, women and a bunch of lies too probably. This week has bee a tough one not just on me but for a few people. The Tree Falling on the house was bad but could have been worse. I guess we all have to count our blessings. Everyone BE SAFE this weekend whatever you do........
