What Place is Best to move in Florida?

Were planning to move to Florida in a few years, and I am wondering what places are best?

We are currently leaning towards Daytona Beach and locations near Florida Keys, though what other places are nice?

Were looking for a safe, welcoming area.

Thanks in advance!

West palm beach, Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale. All these areas have a lot of things to do businesses, restaurants, and always something to do. You will only be an 1 1/2 hours away from Miami and only 2 1/2 hours from orlando also only 3hours from daytona. Possibly even a little shorter depending on your driving habits. With a location like these you will be pretty centralized on commuting to any of these areas in the future.

there are alot of factors...what are you looking for? what is your budget? what lifestyle do you want? I moved to south florida from NJ/NY and its the best thing i did...but there is no sense of community...there is no "main" street or town center..and when there its its a fabricated disneyesque sort....like Weston , which by the way is amazing...Boca is nice, parkland is nice too..Im in plantation which is also an equestrian community like parkland...so u have a bit less bling bling...but u have land and nice big houses...if u need a sense of community..try seaside florida if you can afford it... (thats where they made the Truman show..yes its a real place) its in the panhandle...which is also probably the best place for investment..but its seasonal...south florida...delray beach down to miami isnt seasonal ...but during the season it just gets more crowded..Daytona is up and coming as well...but you get alot of hillbillys on the outskirts...sorry if i offended anyone...but us New Yawkaz are still called yankees in some parts...and we accept it...the south west coast is nice but its older....miami has an amazing night life...ft lauderdale is nice...boca is the only area in south florida from ocean to everglades that uy wont find a bad neighborhood....but there are alot of older people there....what is it youre looking for? do you have a family? if schools are important..stay south east...but away from miami...

My brother lives in Lake Worth and is a real state agent/mortgage broker. He tells me this is a very nice area to relocate to and that you can still find good buys on houses although the real state prices have doubled and even tripled in the last 2-3 years....
Lake Worth is North of West Palm Beach and South of Jupiter.... Not too far from Miami or Daytona but not too close either... You could check that area out....
