Tampa Lancers!!!
 

:mitsu: Everyone who lives in Tampa, or anywere around their needs to meet all at once. If they don't already. Just got a lancer and been wanting to hook it up. If you guys do meet some place, hook a newbie up with the place and times.

Start off by saying welcome to the forum.
I'm from the outskirts of Tampa I guess you could say...
As of right now I'm not too familiar if there are any lancer owners meeting around here yet. I'll post if I know of any meetings of such locally.

Although the other day at a local Target I saw 3 Grey lancer ES and one Yellow OZ parked 4 straight. Didn't see the people who drove them and there was nothing on there car that resembled any type of club...

Well I live in around tampa palms area and was hopeing I wasn't the only one trying to start somethin, so if anyone got any info, lets do this.:headbng2:

Hey tampa wassssabbbeee!!!!:headbng2: im not from tampa either but im about 3 hrs east of it....Vero Beach, Fl....holla at me if you guys wanna meet up......that is if my wife and job permit me to do so. We should start a club definatly......someone gotta a name and some hook-up's????

To keep everyone posted on there lancers.....what does everyone have done already?
(i.e. I have 2 1/2" custom cat-back exhaust w/arospeed DTM muffler, indiglow pedels(Red), white nozzle lights, k&n cone filter, arospeed 1.80mm drop springs (on the way), and custom window tinting by Formula One Racing (about 17%)

Just something to keep the post up and going, and if your bored at work like me :lol: post back tampa peeps

yellow oz ... 18" velox vx8 gunmetals wrapped w/ toyo proxes, hks exhaust w/ custom piping, injen intake, eclipse 7002 flip out monitor, and ps2. future mods are ground control coilovers, racing harts c2, and MAYBE a carbon fiber single deck wing ( till i see how it looks on someone elses car )

Personaly, i dont think the single deck wing will look good on the lancer....i think im shooting for a complete zenon body kit.....for the price, i cant beat it. What do you guys think? yay or nay????

Well...I just started with mine. I got an Es Model with Oz gauges and and is puttin in the order for an ingen intake. that's about it...hurtin for some money:rolleyes: ... :crap: " Married" what else can i do performance wise with a poormans budget...

A poor4 mans budget eh? I feel ya man.....get some pug wires, do some interior mods.....system.....i did my exhaust for 250.00 so that wasnt bad....the strut bar wasnt bad for importlancer i think he bought his for 100.00.....incase u didnt know here is some good places to check frequently:

Thanks Man!! I've been doin all sorts of crap to my car. I got the OZ gauges last week and I told my wife that Mitsu had a recall on the Es lancers and replaced the old gauges with the OZ ones:lol: :lol: :lol: ... and she fell for it. Now if only i can put in a turbo kit with out her knowing. j/k ...I'm gettin an Ingen intake today. Is it good????

i have heard that the injen cold air is not needed, but then again i hear it makes a difference.....so i am just confused about it....but i found one on ebay that i am bidding on just to see if i can get it or not...i wanna meet up but i dont know when i can get to tampa seeings how u guys are about 3 hrs. west of me and all, but ill try.
