i finally know where in NC i'm moving. now i need a place.
So as of yesterday i will be attending NTI in July. so now i'm looking for an apartment in the area of Mooresville/Charlotte. anyone from that area got any suggestions as a place to live? i'm somewhat familiar with the area but haven't been there in sometime now. {thumbup}

Mooresville or Huntersville close to 77 would be your best choices next to not going. Birkdale Village in Huntersville is nice.

i was actually finding some nice places in Huntersville. what about Pineville?

If you don't mind an hour+ commute one way it's nice.:lol:

Davidson or Cornelius might not be bad either. Statesville could be an option but it's kind of far from Charlotte.
Seriously though, you're not expecting to get a job on a race team after/through this are you? |
I live in the Matthews/Stallings area and its pretty nice. I'm getting an apartment in the Greensboro area though for school..

OK, as long as you know that going into it. The job market is kind of tough right now with so many teams closing down and there being a lot of experienced people looking for work.

Plenty of places in Mooresville as far as apartments/townhomes go.

yo,
I just bought a place (2 weeks ago) off park and woodlawn rd, in south charlotte. While it would be a little drive (probably 25min of I-77), the area is really nice, young, but mature (i'd say avg demographics are 20-40), and it's got a lot of amenities around the area (5min from southpark mall, 10min from downtown charlotte). Cost is reasonable too, if you look up near lake norman area prices are bound to go up but if you stick to the outskirts of the lake you should be ok. What part of SD you from? I worked out in Central Cal for 10 months just recently. Made my way down to SD for a party-weekend. I love the gaslamp. welcome to NC {thumbup} |
I don't mind the drive. Living in sd taught me to deal with hour drives in the morning and two-three in the evening. I lived in clairemont for most my time here. Actually I'm returning to NC. Born and raised. But thanks anyway
