Trunk Replacement

FML. So..like the idiot that I am, I may have backed into a hefty metal garbage bin and dented my trunk pretty badly.

I'm going to try and pop it out, but I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas.

This is my first car...and i'm dying on the inside.

I was contemplating dishing out a bit of money and maybe just replacing the trunk with a CF trunk? And down the road, replacing the hood with a CF hood..

Would it look tacky to have just the CF trunk? Would it be better to just cut my losses, pop out the dents the best I can and just move on?

Does anyone know any places locally within Toronto where I can check out prices for a CF trunk/hood?

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

thing with CF trunk is that it'll never sit flush. you will need to remove the hinges that prop the trunk up and if you're ok with having a trunk that slams on your head everytime you open it, then go for it. Or you'll have to drill holes to attach a wing to make it heavy to close the trunk down

don't know, you can try to find someone selling their trunk..
or go to a scrapyard and see if there are some lancers there with a solid rear end hahah
iirc lancer/ra/evo trunk is all the same? should be able to find one for cheap..

Thanks for your feedback guys, I think i'm just going to go ahead and get the trunk repaired instead of replacing it with a CF. I'll look into a CF hood later on.

Thanks again!
