SK2's Lancer

So I have been around the forums for a couple of weeks and don't think I've posted any pictures of my car, so here are a few:

Front with Chrome Molding - looks better when the car is clean lol:

The side view/stock ES rims - desperate need for new black rims (hopefully 18s):

The back:

And finally the inside with my custom AUX cable coming through the glovebox - no drilling or advanced skills required:

Looks nice man, any future plans with it?

Yeah a few, I'm looking to get 18 inch black rims at some point, probably something similar to the black Advans RZ rims, they look absolutely beautiful (here's a link on an evo: http://www.lancerregister.com/attach...1&d=1204304305)

Also gonna get 25% tint all around - probably black out the headlights and taillights (unless I can find Blacked out LED taillights).

Probably an in-dash navi-touch screen system.

6000k HIDs for headlights and LED strips around the fog light lip that would plug in to the foglight and turn on instead of the regular fog lights (still not 100% on the led's)

as far as performance parts, I'm probably going to leave them until later and I become more in-tune with car parts, technology, trouble shooting and installation.

I say go with the RA taillights!
thos Advans are very nice too!

So far they've been an absolute treat to work with, hope they don't prove me wrong. The lady at the service is very kind. P.s. if you're getting tint/HIDs on your lancer, let me know and I might join you and we could possibly work down the prices, I just got mine as well.

Haha, it appears that you have the same taste as me. Those were the first things I've done. Got tints and then smoked my tail lights at shinzo. If you can find yourself a oem mitsu navi for under a grand you should grab it. That is really useful and looks amazing. I got my headlights blacked out with projectors with 6000k hids aswell. For the fogs, I did wanted to run l.e.d's but i think that will look too busy for my taste. And those rims do look amazing, but i doubt you can find something like that with deep concave for our car. The widest we can run is probably 8.5 and most deep concave rims only come in 9.5 or wider. I'm still waiting for my set of black work emotion 11R to arrive from japan. They are 18 by 8.5 +38. I've been waiting for over a month now which had me looking into other rims, lol. Would you be interested in buying them? They also come with a free set of Work lug nuts which the promotion is now over. Let me know if you will be interested. Great taste btw, haha

I'm around yonge/steeles area. I was looking into getting projectors too, but I feel as though I could buy a lot more things with the money needed for those. I'm prob gonna order my HIDs off xenondepot, they give a discount to tlc members that so it'll be around $200. I'm probably gonna hold off on anything major until after june 7th when I write my LSATs.

And NSK - wondering if you have any pictures of your car, I want to see what my car could potentially look similar to, and also wondering where you did your projectors/cost and did you blackout the headlights yourself?

As far as getting your AUX cable in, I had a really long wire, so you wire it as per usual with all the other guides, but instead of leaving it in the dash, when you have the dash removed, if you go into the back (where passenger feet would end up) there's a screw for the side of the centre console (only one screw), if you unscrew that, you can juggle the passenger side panel of the centre console, then you go into your centre console armrest, there are 2 screws at the bottom, unscrew them, and you can move the centre console around a bit more, I just put the wire through the passenger side screw hole, pulled it out through the passenger side panel, ran it all the way to the back and plugged it into the radio. Note you can then screw everything back, including the the screw where the wire is running through, just don't do it tight cause you'll destroy your wire. Note this is a method where you don't need to drill or do anyhting advanced, but theres extra pressure that could harm your wire, My wire was a really stiff high quality one, so I'm not worried about it cutting from the centre console's pressure (the pressure also isn't much and if you don't tug or anything, the wire should handle it fine). If you want more better quality pictures and or any clarification let me know.
