HID/DRL help!

Hey everyone,

I just installed HID headlights on my 2010 Lancer, but now they're flickering when turn them off. So I am wondering if there is a device I can buy or anything I can do to make them stop flickering?

:crap:

It seems weird but I never bought a bypass and I have a 2010 and everyone I talk to says that Im just lucky but I just pulled my day time running lights fuse and everything works fine I just dont have day time running lights and I just turn on my headlights when ever I want and they come on perfectly fine but a lot of other people say they've tried it and it never worked......

I tired that! I looked into my fuse box and where that DRL fuse was supose to be; it was empty... so now im resorting to that bypass from JROX

J rox bypass works and its easy to install...been using it over a year now np watso ever

Yeah Im running 6000K HID's and I'll double check what fuse I pulled but I think it was fuse 13 but dont hold me to that because it was in the summer when I installed them.

or it's possible that you're running real slim digital ballasts with internal drl bypass installed..

Ya could be, Im not 100% sure of the brand name but I'll check tonight when I get home and update it on here, but I bought them from a store up here in Canada called Performance Improvements..

+1 on jrox. I have one, although it's not installed yet ... working on a retrofit, but I've only heard great things about his bypass.

Ya I have Ignited HID's its a Xenon Motorsports HID Conversion Kit and I just pulled my DRL fuse and Ive never had a problem and I dont have a bypass installed either......

Hey I just wanted to update everyone about my HID problems...

Last week I bought the J rox bypas, and it worked like a ****ing charm, it was super easy to install and took me only an hour. So i HIGHLY recommend buying this item if your looking to disable your DRL. Its a plug-and-play relay so I don't have to worry about warranty issues.
It cost me around 70 CND with shipping. =D

awesome...glad to hear you fixed the problem..

mine's ready for pick up at the post office...well since friday..so I'm getting them tonight..
