.26 Drag CE is absolutely amazing, that is beyond better then anything remotely close to it's price range save the Eco and concept vehicles. Increasing downforce a the same time is truly amazing.

i wish i could justify spending money on a car like this. this is really a have your cake and eat it too kind of car. It's a shame they didn't bring "Bayside Blue" back for the 2012 GTR

Most of them are about $100,000 + the premiums. The cheapest prem i've seen is $5K...but usual prem is about 25K so $125K car. |
Yeah such a markup.

I spent last night googling the 2011's and 2012's.
Th 2.85 0-60 is awesome and more importantly it is repeatable. You might be able to get a 3.5 out of vette(zr1). But you are going to spend all day trying. In the GTR its a few buttons, foot on brake, rev to it limits at 4K, foot off brake... pow. launch control is a wonderful thing. .26 is better than .27 but that merely puts it on a level playing field in its class (price included). Its a no brainer that the wedge shaped vette was .26 with the c5. What i think is amazing that this thing is still brick shaped and is that slippery. I bet the underbody is where they picked it up. The only complaint i have heard is that the car detaches the driver so much that a schmoe can drive like a pro. I am not really sure thats a big minus, as most people who can afford a 90K car aspire to be schmoes. Where as the already pro's might be a bit bored. I think the car is cool as hell and would be one of the few cars in the 'near' price range that could replace the evo's. Too me the newest vette (zr1) is so brutal that frankly i think i would spend most of my time going ass first in the turns, a lot like the old viper. And put simply: without control power is useless. as a counter point (flame on): both the vette and the even the fords (gt, boss) lose so much value after just a few years that being the second owner with a little extra cash could be all the difference on the track. So yeah the GTR is sick but in 2 years when you can get a boss mustang for 30K and a basic z06 for 45 those few tenths of a second that the gtr holds in the showroom stock market can be eliminated in the rich after market. |

The just over $100,000 is the canadian pricing. Nontheless, nothing comes close with the GTR at this price range.
