9.04 at 159.64 mph, that's the ET and MPH this turbo kit helped me achieve in my 2004 EVO RS. This isn't some gutted hacked up POS, it's a real deal street car with full interior, door beams, air bags, factory dash, double din DVD player and 6 speakers etc. It's a full effort build, to build myself the quickest and fastest reall street Evolution out there.

The turbo kit is something I tried to build a few years back and could not get it to come out how I wanted it. I tried a few other custom header designs that worked well but all had some type of downside to them.

Working with Ron Shearer from Shearer fabrication we came up with this forward facing kit.

Here is a picture of the parts involved in the kit:



The kits come complete with everything needed to install them using your existing T3 based turbo. GT30's, GT35's, GT37, 50 trims, etc. This assumes you also already have a Tial 44 mm wastegate from your current kit you are removing to replace with the Forward Facing kit.

Included in the kit:

1. Forward facing header
2. 3" 02 housing in your choice of 4 bolt or 4 band. (vband requires a custom turbine housing that only we offer)
3. Dumptube for the Tial 44mm wastegate
4. -4 braided SS oil feed line and feed fitting for the cylinder head
5. -8 return line and all fittings
6. 3" mandrel bent 304 grade stainless steel, V-band downpipe
7. 4" K&N filter
8. Carbon fiber block off panel for the grill for running poor weather

This kit as pictured sells for $2920.

The kit must be used with the mini-radiator.

We have these in stock now.

Next year this kit will propel my car into the 8's, it was so close already. I just needed one more trip to the track.

Thanks Joseph. It's a very unique kit and I don't think the power can be beat by any other kit.

There is the sacrifice of no a/c but that can be addressed too. We have the ability to build a half sized condensor for the a/c which would then allow it to be retained. There hasn't been enough interest in that option to pursue it. CBRD has offered to build the condensors if and when they are requested/needed.

You'd be suprised at how much air gets packed into the turbo with the forward facing turbo. I watched the AFR's get leaner as the MPH rose on the track and then there was of course that 159.6 mph trap speed from a "GT35r"
