SBR 2.0 Short Block (600hp):

Our first level block is design for anyone looking to build up to about 600hp. This is ideal for anyone with a stock frame turbo, 50trim, gt30ish. They are built to rev and allow you to enjoy your setup. We build these with the OEM short block, OEM 88mm crank shaft and various rod and piston options.

We have EVO 8 and 9 short block cores coming in! that means we have motors available that don't require a core and will allow for minimal down time!!!

 

What kind of timing belt and water pump do you guys use for the 2.4l block? Is it a custom timingbelt and waterpump or oem? Does the cam timing need to be adjusted for the bigger displacement?

 

the 4G64 belt is used on these. The water pump is just the EVO Pump and the cam timing is going to depend on many factor like HG thickness, how much the head is cut and things like that.

How much for a 2.0 build with oem crank, manley 300m & or carrilo rods with cp pistons, for a evo 9 with out the core exchange? Just trying to compare prices with the optimus prime 2.4 build. Also are these new or used cores?

 

Hopefully I'm one of the ones waiting on this!!!! LOL I may have an Evo VIII 4G63 block for a core credit if you need one.
