STM NEW product release. Evo 8/9 Alternator pulleys

The STM Evo 8/9 10% Under-Driven Alternator Pulley with Raised Guides was originally designed to help stop the belt from jumping off at high RPM.

With the amount of requests we've had for this product from the racing community, we are very pleased to announce the release! This new revision makes the pulley 10% under-driven and lighter than stock- lightening the load on your alternator. Fits all the Evolution VIII & IX models and works with OEM and stock replacement belts.

Features:
  • Billet Aluminum
  • Hard Anodized to help resist corrosion
  • Lighter than OEM
  • 10% under-driven
  • 10% less wear on your alternator
  • Works with stock belts
  • Raised belt guides
  • USA Made
  • #anotherpartthatjustplainworks

STM Products are made in the USA!
Lifetime Warranty on STM Parts to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects.

These can be found here!

what does it mean to lighten the load on the alternator? what does it exactly mean to be 10% underdriven? the alternator will be 10% less powered? maybe a little less parasitic drag/more power? what about for folks running a small battery? any impact? will we get less charge/power to our electronics?

There is a regulator so it will keep the voltage where it needs to be, even being under drive by 10%. The less RPM abuse will also help to keep it from overspinng the regulator at the higher RPMs, and it helps keep the belt on as well.

Shouldn't have an issue with the Smaller PC680 Batteries.

so less rpm abuse, less wear on regulator, less wear on alternator, same charge/no impact on small battery -- less parasitic drag with it being underdriven as well?
