If you have any M&W based cdi system for Evo 4-9 and you would like to upgrade to a Spark Tech Pro, this upgrade is for you. Don't forget to add the Quick Disconnect option so you can quickly disconnect the cop from the rest of the cdi harness.

My M&W box is working sporadically. Sometimes the car will start some times it won't. The light on the box blinks sometimes. I've put some stockers on and the car runs perfect. My system is like 4-5 yrs old. Anything that can be done for me or do I need to buy a new box altogether?

It can be sent back to M&W for testing/repair. Typically coils need to be replaced at roughly 2yr intervals. You are way overdue for a fresh set. Coils that need replacing could cause issues with the cdi.

Just updating this thread as it seems we forgot to do so. ALL of our Pro systems ship (have been for well over a year) with the dust/splash boot that covers the cdi plug. This boot hides and protects the wires entering the cdi plug it cleans up the look of the entire system, another feature ONLY available here at Spark Tech
