STM's AWD Dyno is HERE!
It's here! :D
We have a Mustang AWD SE 500 - AWD - RWD - FWD - Motorcycles - Big-Ass Trucks - Drag Racing Attatchment (For reference, this is the same style dyno Buschur has, and because of the resistance of the rollers simulating real road driving and true wheel power, the numbers will read lower. The Viper used for testing at MustangDyne put 280whp down!) haha! Pricing: $125 1st hour with wideband $75 each additional hour Tuning rates: $200 per hour $150 each additional hour So with the addition of this beautiful, and quite large, machine, we were going to clear the 2500 sq foot shop we have now and make it all "fit," but why do that when we could just expand to the now vacant shop on the other side of the wall and create a 5,000 sq foot facility? OH yeah. Suite E (left) and D (right). Suite F has a paint booth, so Cory can work his magic with our smoked lights and shaved/painted valve covers in-house. If you've been in our shop, you know it is LONG and skinny... we plan to actually put a garage door INSIDE the shop between the 2 suites. We also will construct a wall to the right of the Dyno, with plexiglass windows for your viewing pleasure. The Dyno is almost ready to rock- it arrived Friday morning and it has been non-stop since then. Emery thinks possibly Tuesday or Wednesday we can have the GSX on there :sneaky: On to the pics! (Friday) http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power14.jpg It always looks small in the pictures, but the big-ass truck speaks for itself! The paint booth is in the back with an exhaust fan, office and bathroom (which I think I'm painting today.) We are also considering a professional for the walls (because I'm not going up that high!) http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power20.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power16.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power23.jpg Those ramps are long and sturdy, Had no problem with the slammed GSX) http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power17.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power24.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power25.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power26.jpg (Saturday) Started cleaning up a bit http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power29.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power31.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power30.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...le_power32.jpg I'll get more pictures today. I have been insanely busy adding Subaru, 3000GT, 350Z, Honda and SRT-4 to our website. Doing just online sales for Evo and DSM and working on and racing what we love has been more than we could have hoped for, but with the addition of this machine, we have no choice but to become much bigger than that. The Subaru page is off to a great start, hopefully in another week, I might have enough to announce officially that we have it, but not quite yet as a few categories are still empty. All I can say is we have only officially been in business for 2 years and I am astounded at where we are today. Emery and I are all STM all the time! And we would be nothing without all of you. Thank you all so much for the continued support! -Shawna STM Oh, and just for fun, let's hear what you think the GSX will put down for hp numbers... She might be on today... 99 gsx auto: NGK Wires NGK Plugs K&N Filter Hallman Boost Controller HKS Carbon-TI cat-back STM Test Pipe Evo VIII Blow Off Valve TOKICO Illumina Shock/Strut 170 deg thermostat STM Fuel Return Kit ~ 14 psi Otherwise stock with 120,000 Royal Purple Oil Now keep in mind the Viper put 280hp I say 133 hp :( haha |

|
Oooo, purple! You weren't kidding on the long and skinny part!
Congrats! |
sick!...its sick to see from what your shop started out till now with the expansion of the shop and now dyno....
mind sharing the price of a MD?? |
$87k.
The GSX made 128hp and 137tq... we are "working out the kinks" with the printer... aka... buying a new one! {thumbup} So I'll have a dyno sheet sometime tonight. Still fighting with streetfire and youtube. How long has it been? 3 hours? I keep getting errors trying to upload from my mac (and running back and forth between the 2 shops on pulls) so I saved the vid and put it on the PC... go figure, it's working... so far. I hate computers. I was about to throw something through a wall. Anyhow, pics are coming!!! -Shawna |

Thanks David! http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...x_diaganal.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...a/gsx_rear.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co.../gsx_wheel.jpg This was the worst computer/internet day from hell! I have a ton of videos and pictures to get to! We got Bill's Legacy GT turbo on after the gsx and installed a boost controller and picked up about 35 horse and 50 ft lbs! Decent. Mike is up next with his Evo... :D Haha, you'll notice as I post more pics, our painter finished the whole wall! Looks great and he'll do another coat tomorrow... then we'll plaster it with banners!! |
hopefully i can swing by and test it out in person sometime this week :)
