Greddy Profec B Spec II Electronic Boost Controller



Based on the very popular B-Spec., the all new PRofec B-Spec. II's basic function to increase boost is as easy as the original, with an added built in boost pressure display and optional features like real-time, peak or last boost display (in either kPa or PSI). There are optional warning and boost limiter functions that can be programmed to offer much more control. The two presets values can be stored and are executed by a larger capacity inline solenoid valve. This unit does not require extensive programming and is ideal for low to high boost levels for single or twin turbos with actuator or external wastegates.

The GReddy PRofec B-Spec. II is available in black or silver cased head units.

We've been able to control boost up to 38psi with this unit on a 35R turbo and with a MBC controlling boost the Profec B Spec II displayed up to 45psi so far.

A'PEXi AVC-R Electronic Boost Controller Universal (Black)



The AVCR is a digital boost controller that allows the user to modify the boost pressure level on turbocharged vehicles. While there are many boost controllers on the market, none of the other includes as many features as the AVCR, period. Despite all of the complex features included the unit, the AVCR is flexible enough to be used by beginners. Entry level users need only to input a desired boost level and the AVCR's trademark self learning CPU processor does the rest.

The AVCR also uses a highly durable, fast action solenoid valve to physically control the boost . The valve movement (Boost Duty Cycle) can also be modified. Raising the duty cycle increases boost response, while lowering the duty cycle will slow boost response. This feature allows boost response adjustment for varying turbo sizes. Since larger turbos take longer to spool up ( bad low end response) the duty cycle should be raised under lower RPM's for better response. The opposite should be done for smaller trubo's ( excellent low - mid range response, but limited top end power.) Apex engineers address this issue by including extra menus for RPM based boost control. Drag racers may want to utilize the Gear based boost control function. Aside from the basic functions above, the AVCR has a Start Duty Setting ( allows the boost to momentarily overshoot according to gear).

Hallman ES Manual Boost Controller



The Hallman ES Kit has a custom fabricated billet aluminum body with a beautiful black anodized finish. Ever since the "first generation" of the ES model was released, it achieved national recognition and received rave reviews in national publications. Hallman has continued to evolve this "entry-level" MBC so that it is still delivers uncompromised bang-for-the-buck. Comes with hose, four cable ties, and instructions. Also provided by the manufacturer are a warranty and email tech support.

Hallman Pro Manual Boost Controller



The Hallman Pro Kit contains the impeccably designed Hallman Pro valve, the standard by which manual boost controllers are measured. It is machined of billet aluminum and stainless steel pieces, and incorporates new features not currently available on any other manual boost controller.

No lock nut is utilized, and no tools are used to adjust your boost. Simply turn the adjustment knob and it stays put. The adjustment knob cannot be lost or come out of the valve (that means perfect protection from over-boosting due to adjustment knob loss - it cannot vibrate loose and come out).

The Pro Kit includes the Hallman Pro valve, 3 feet of hose, boost controller mounting bracket, hardware packet, and complete installation instructions. This kit has all the installation hardware that is typically needed for most turbo installations.

Hallman Pro RX Manual Boost Controller (ceramic ball)



The Hallman Pro RX Kit contains the Hallman Pro valve with a ceramic ball, both light AND heavy (standard) springs, 3 feet of hose, mounting bracket, hardware packet, and complete installation instructions. The RX kit has a ceramic ball instead of the 316 stainless ball that comes in the Hallman Pro and Hallman ES valves. The ceramic ball weighs a fraction of what the stainless steel ***** weighs. This weight difference allows the ceramic ball to act very quickly as it is constantly changing directions during operation. This helps to minimize spiking, particularly when used with applications that produce lower boost.

The RX kit also includes a light spring. The light spring allows for very fine adjustment of boost up to 4 to 5 pounds of boost over "stock". Boost can be adjusted in as little as half pound (.5 PSI) increments very consistently with this valve.

The combination of the ceramic ball and the light spring make the Hallman Pro RX kit very well suited for the turbo enthusiast that wants to add a few psi of boost over stock, and have a great amount of control over those few pounds.

While this kit comes with the light spring already installed, it also includes the heavy (standard) spring (that is found in the Hallman ES Kit and Hallman Pro Kit) for customers that would like to switch to the heavier spring and adjust to more than 5 psi of boost over stock, yet still take advantage of the quick-acting qualities of the ceramic ball. This is particularly helpful if your turbo system is only designed to allow increasing the boost a "small" amount now, but you modify your system to allow for higher boost levels in the future. Switching to the heavier spring allows the Hallman Pro RX Kit to "grow" with the rest of your turbo system!

Hallman Evolution Manual Boost Controller (adjust inside)



The Hallman EVOLUTION Kit uses the same valve as the Pro Kit, and has the same features, but ALSO is integrated into a self-contained cockpit controller cable system.

It also contains a mounting bracket, vacuum hose, a hardware kit, and specific installation instructions. The cable is approximately 69 inches in length. Available in Red or Black.

The self contained cable system allows you to adjust boost from inside your car! This new system makes it very easy to set initial desired boost level... there is no need to stop the car, pop the hood, adjust the valve, then drive to see what boost level it is set at (and possibly repeating this process several times). Sitting at a red light and want to turn up the boost? Its just an arm's reach away.

This unique cable system uses a sheathed cable that does not twist or bind. There is no "lateral torque". This means that you achieve consistent results when you turn your inside-the-cockpit adjustment knob. Just as precise as if you were turning a knob on the controller itself, as with the Hallman Pro or Hallman Pro RX kits.

Hallman Pro/RX Cockpit controller ad-don kit



The Hallman Pro Cockpit Controller Add-On Kit contains the cable system that will adapt the Pro and Pro RX Hallman boost controller valves for inside-the-cockpit adjustability. The cable is 72 inches in length. This kit does not contain a boost control valve, that is sold separately. This Add-On Kit is for upgrading your current Hallman Pro or Hallman Pro RX to inside-the-cockpit adjustability.

AMS Manual Boost Controller Kit EVO 7/8/9/10



AMS' manual boost controller is designed for quick spool-up and steady boost control. Boost is easily adjustable by turning the top of the controller clockwise for more boost and counterclockwise for less boost. The boost level is secured with a jam-nut that prevents boost changes. All mounting hardware and silicone vacuum lines are included.

Buschur Racing Dual Stage Boost Controller EVO 7/8/9/10



This new dual stage boost controller is adjustable from about 2 psi over wastegate pressure to over 50 psi. The kit uses a high end Parker solenoid which is activated by a cockpit mounted toggle switch (included). The boost is controlled by two individual custom Buschur Racing inline billet boost controllers. One is for high boost and the other is for low boost. The boost controllers use a specially wound stainless steel spring and ceramic ball. No need to ever worry about rust or the ball getting stuck on the seat.

This is absolutely the best dual stage boost controller there is available. The custom mount allows it to easily be mounted on the passenger side strut tower under the a/c line.

Why run an Electronic BCS over a Manual Boost Controller? A MBC allows you to run higher than stock boost levels by preventing the wastegate from opening at its rated pressure. It does a great job at this but if boost is available under the MBC setting it will give you that full boost. So for instance, you set your MBC to 18psi because from 3000-6000rpm thats what you want. But then say you get detonation with 18psi when you are at 7000rpm unless you are below 16psi. With a MBC, you do not have this control so you are forced to run 16psi through the entire rev range. With an electronic boost controller you could run 18psi from 3000-6000 and 16psi at 7000rpm because you can tune the boost map in the ECU which will allow you to run the maximum amount of boost at every given rpm. This gives you more power throughout the range and better control. selling quite a few of these Hallman Pro and ES mbc's they are great bang for the buck being the best MBC on the market.
