Thumbs up Custom Engraved IX Shift Knob

3/4/2012 5 YEAR UPDATE:
After 5 years of testing and many miles. This shift knob still looks brand new! Best quality product I have ever bought. I will take some pictures of how it looks today and post them.

-------------------------------------------------
About 2 months ago I had this made and engraved (with my design) for me by whalen shift machine (They normally make knobs for BMW and MINI owners). The shift knob is about 18oz, made of stainless steel, has the Evo screw threding plus a tap screw to make it solid and is made with no sacrifice to quility. They offer many other options for finishes brushed, polished, or sandblasted.

I had mine sandblasted and then engraved. I paid $105 for the knob and $20 for the custom engraving (The shift knob was expensive but well worth the high quility USA made knob.)

Result: Smoother and more precise shifting feel, a slightly larger knob, grippy feel, and most inportantly a product that is not going to start chipping or falling apart.
PM me if you have any questions.

I agree; it does look good. Normally I don't care for aftermarket knobs, but this one is very tastefully done.

Why not? It only needs to be touched for a fraction of a second.
