One question- any idea how much focus they put on improving wet performance vs the AD07? We run a track event that includes a wet skidpad and usually a wet track event. Last time we ran the AD07s, and while they were great in the dry they got destroyed in wet/ cold conditions by Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics and the like. Trying to figure out if we should try these...
You're comparing apples and oranges though...

Quite true, but the event rules say treadwear >140 but otherwise anything goes, and there are usually roughly 3 wet and 12 dry events. It's tough to make up enough extra points in the dry events to cancel out poor wet event showings... So in our case the AD08s and Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics are effectively competing head to head.

Yea, I've seen that. I think it might have a lot to do with temperature, though. Tire Rack's tests have the AD07 at .85 Gs in the wet vs .92 for the Goodyears F1 Asymmetrics. Not good, but not terrible. But when we ran them it was cooler, and especially on the road course they were almost undriveable. Of course it was 40 degrees out- not sure if we'll see those conditions again this year... My hope is that they put some fancy new wet traction tech in so that we can have the best of both worlds...

Guess I know what's going to be replacing my Pirellis now anyways...I like to use the same tire for srteet and track and these things look almost like a semislick, plus the feedback that they can last multiple laps on the track is also pretty encouraging.

Bonus points for being symmetrical too (more ability to remount em).

When will these be available on tirerack.com I wonder?

im certainly not a yokohama spokes person or anything like that... but I would assume that the Neova will come back in similar sizes that they made the ado7's in... no solid release date yet.

Hmmm...these are still looking good but not out yet..secretly up on tirerack's website but not yet publicly available anyways (I cheated with the URL here)

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e1=yes&place=6

Meanwhile, NT05s are also looking pretty good...anyone tried both (or know anybody whose tried both)?

Yeah I'm digging here :-D

It is good that the AD08 comes in the stock oem 235/45 17 size. How does it compare to the A046(I know it has been awhile since you had the stocks)?
