Update: I have sent buyblackline a final email stating that I am canceling my order and that I want my refund processed ASAP. Also notified bank that the charge is fraudulent.

I called the 1.4806242599 number but it was "securenet" hosting company and not the actual admin office of blackline. The physical location noted here is a company called Domains By Proxy, LLC. The number noted on my bank transaction is 480-257-5172 but rolls over to a non-descript voicemail. The bank info also says AVTEK which may be the company name on file with their credit card processor/service. I will keep digging to find out who this mystery knob dealer is. C'mon Scoob.

I called the number and spoke to an Alicia who indicated that they are a machine shop but stated they had no affiliation with buyblackline. (Possible that they are in fact the source of these knobs? Am envisioning that the machine shop is the one who decided "hey we can make these ARC replica knobs and make some good coin" Strictly speculation/theory at this point but plausible.

Also discovered that the 480-257-5172 is registered to a company called Ymax Communications. As you can see from their website (Here: http://www.ymaxcorp.com/) the guy who founded this company was the orgiantor of the magicjack. At this point I am assuming that the proprietor of buyblackline registered a magicjack phone number with his credit card processor so as to obfuscate their identity.

Well with a good bit of assistance from a colleague, the knob mystery is solved. Business run out of a home. Anatoliy, i am hoping you will do the right thing here and promptly refund my money.

the vast majority of car parts websites are resellers that are just a website and a laptop. Most import car parts come from 2 suppliers, and most JDM comes from one. The rest are wholesale resellers.

I ordered a shift knob through buyblackline.com roughly a year ago. While it did take a few weeks I received my knob and never thought I was getting scammed at any point. On a side note I have no affiliation to the company or the owner just figured I'd share my purchasing experience from them.

We have shipped out over 1000 shift knobs since we started, and nobody has ever returned a shift knob (other than one instance where the insert was damaged). Yes, sometimes they take a long time to come in and ship if they are on backorder, but when they are in stock and ready to go, they usually ship within 1-2 days.
