Did you install the pump and transmission cooler with an lines somewhere, I do not see it in your pictures?

Would there be any reason to install a temperature guage on the transmission, what can you do about the high temperature if you do see it, just stop driving it to cool off or what?
I haven't installed a pump or cooler as of yet and plan on doing this next year. I placed the temperature probe in the transmission to get an idea of how hot the gears are making the oil. What Jon at TRE shared with me is the factory insert isn't directing traffic like it should. This Billet Oil Cooler adapter allows the oil to be fed onto the 4th gear. This allows the oil to do its job by cooling and lubricating the gear set. This is all done by just installing this part without the transmission pump and oil cooler. This part is essential in keeping the gear set happy, something that the OEM piece wasn't doing very well. An extra benefit of this part is adding the cooler and pump to further protecting your transmission.

I want one for the 6-speed as well. Will be a bit easier to install an oil cooler setup as well.

I don't think the same access plate exists on the 6-speed.

I installed one of these and the fit and finish were excellent. I'd recommend this for any high HP or road race cars. John is a little hard to get ahold of sometimes but he knows his transmissions!

I just picked one of these beauties up. Jon was super quick with his response to me and I actually ordered it same day. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but just by looking at it you can tell the quality and finish is top notch. When I get back from camping this weekend I will throw it on and post up some pics for you guys!
